Job summary

Sparklight, a Cable One company, seeks a Field Technician in Prescott, AZ to install customer service drops and outlets in homes and small businesses. You will use electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot reception issues, verify upstream/downstream signal levels, and resolve problems from the customer's equipment to the first distribution amplifier.

Qualifications

• 3+ months of customer service or related experience/training.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license in state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Connect customers by installing service drops or outlets in residential and business properties.
• Troubleshoot with electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools to diagnose and repair issues from customer equipment to the distribution amp.
• Ensure proper upstream and downstream signal levels at each termination.
• Educate customers on new/existing equipment and potential upgrades.
• Take on other duties to support the company's purpose and values.
