Job summary

Cable One is hiring a Field Technician to install and troubleshoot customer service drops and outlets for residential and business properties. You will use diagnostic tools and training to ensure signal quality and educate customers on equipment upgrades, with duties supporting our brand and values.

Applicants should have a good driving record, be able to lift up to 80 lbs, work on ladders, and be flexible for overtime or on-call as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ months of customer service experience or training.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license required in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Connect customers by installing service drops or outlets in residential and business properties.
• Use electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair service drops or outlets; diagnose reception issues and resolve problems from customer equipment to the distribution output.
• Ensure proper upstream and downstream signal levels at each termination on the customer’s premises.
• Proactively suggest upgrades and educate customers on new/existing equipment.
• Take on other duties to support company values and brand principles.
