Job summary

Breezeline is hiring a Customer and Network Facing Technician in Columbus, OH. You will perform field installation and service work for cable TV, internet, and phone, troubleshoot and maintain HFC/FTTH networks, and ensure service quality that meets FCC standards.

You’ll work with a team to test and repair components, educate customers, and support ongoing projects across the network while following safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; post-high school education a plus.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record as required by the company.
• Willing to work required shifts and overtime, including on-call rotations when needed.
• Proficient reading and interpretation of safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
• Ability to operate test equipment and basic math concepts as part of field service work.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, disconnect and troubleshoot TV, internet, telephony, and automation systems for residential and business customers.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair of HFC/FTTH networks and associated equipment.
• Read and interpret system maps; install and replace network components per specifications.
• Test network components with meters, TDR/OTDR, and other test equipment; document results.
• Interact with customers professionally, educate them on services, and promote company offerings.
• Maintain tools, equipment, inventory, and company vehicle; complete work orders promptly.
