Job summary

Breezeline in Columbus, OH is seeking a Customer and Network Facing Technician to install, maintain, and repair cable TV, internet, and telephony systems for residential and business clients.

Under general supervision, you will read maps, test networks with OTDR and TDR, troubleshoot RF and fiber paths, and coordinate with dispatch, ensuring high-quality service and FCC compliance while promoting Breezeline services.

Qualifications

• Minimum demonstrated proficiency in core technician skillsets.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet background requirements.
• Technical/commercial education or equivalent with foundational knowledge of telecom networks.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, disconnect, and troubleshoot cable TV, internet, and telephony for residential and business clients.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on HFC/FTTH networks and associated equipment.
• Read and interpret system/network design maps; test with OTDR/TDR and other equipment.
• Coordinate with dispatch and other technicians; assist on complex projects as required.
• Educate customers about services and promote Breezeline offerings.
