Job summary

Breezeline is seeking a Customer and Network Facing Technician to perform field installation, service, and maintenance of cable TV, internet, and telephony systems. You will troubleshoot, test, and ensure service quality over HFC and FTTH networks, complying with FCC standards and company protocols.

Under supervision, you will interact with customers professionally, promote Breezeline services, and support network expansion efforts with accurate records and timely responses.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in Core Technician skillsets.
• Valid state driver’s license and good driving record.
• Certifications and licenses as required by state laws.
• Minimum of one year direct customer service experience.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to operate test equipment (e.g., meters, TDR/OTDR).
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime when needed.
• Able to lift and carry equipment up to 88 lb.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, disconnect, and troubleshoot television, high‑speed internet, telephony for residential and business clients.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HFC/FTTH networks and associated equipment.
• Read and interpret system/network design maps and schematics.
• Install and replace HFC components and ensure proper grounding and safety.
• Test and troubleshoot RF, AC, DC elements; conduct end‑to‑end network testing.
• Educate customers about services and promote other Breezeline offerings.
• Drive company vehicle to job sites; coordinate with dispatch and customers.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle; complete work orders accurately.
