Job summary

Under general supervision, Breezeline seeks a Customer & Network Facing Technician to perform field installation and service work for cable TV, internet, and telephony across HFC and FTTH networks. Drive ensures service quality and compliance with FCC standards.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment to meet performance targets. Essential duties include installing and testing systems, following safety protocols, and coordinating with dispatch and customers to deliver reliable

Qualifications

Demonstrated proficiency in Core Technician skillsets.
Valid state driver’s license and a good driving record.
Certifications and licenses, as required by state and municipal laws.
Minimum of one year of direct customer service experience.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating manuals.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, disconnect, and troubleshoot TV, internet, and telephony for residential and business clients.
Perform preventative maintenance and repair of HFC and FTTH networks per standards.
Read and interpret system/network design maps accurately.
Install and replace HFC components like coax, passives and grounding per specs.
Identify and repair upstream and downstream ingress issues.
Complete end-of-line network testing to meet specs.
Test network components with meters and OTDR/TDRT equipment.
Maintain records of standby power supplies and related maintenance.
