Job summary

WSI Technologies is seeking a hands-on Field Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot systems across customer sites in North Carolina. The role is hybrid, field-based with remote work between visits. Expect up to 80–85% travel and a competitive hourly rate with overtime eligibility.

You’ll install hardware and software, configure Windows systems, troubleshoot issues, and document everything in the ticketing system, while keeping customers informed throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience supporting Windows desktops and servers.
• Willingness to travel up to 80–85% and obtain government site clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure WSI systems on-site.
• Rack, cable, configure, and test hardware.
• Configure Windows desktops/servers, incl. VMs.
• Test installations and sign-off with customers.
• Diagnose hardware, software, network issues.
• Respond to support requests within SLA.
• Escalate complex issues when needed.
• Document installations and resolutions in the ticketing system.
