Job summary

WSI Technologies is seeking a hands-on Field Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot systems across customer sites in Michigan. The role requires travel up to 80–85% with a company vehicle and gas stipend, and hybrid work between field visits.

You will configure servers, work with Windows OS, AD, and Exchange, and manage tickets in ServiceNow. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for servicing public safety, government, and enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting Windows operating systems across desktop and server environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Experience with ITSM or ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management; ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel up to 80–85% and obtain government site clearance/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure WSI systems on-site, including servers, applications, and recording infrastructure.
• Rack, cable, configure, and test hardware in data centers and telecom environments.
• Configure Windows desktops and servers, including virtual environments.
• Test completed installations and ensure systems meet customer requirements before sign-off.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
• Respond to customer requests within SLA expectations; manage service tickets and field visits.
