Job summary

WSI Technologies, part of Fluent Software Group, seeks a hands-on Field Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot systems at customer sites. Expect heavy travel (80–85%), a company vehicle, gas card, and stipends.

You’ll configure servers, desktops, and recording infrastructure, troubleshoot across hardware, software, and networks, and document all work in the ticketing system. You’ll engage with public safety, government, and enterprise clients to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting Windows desktop and server OS
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networks
• Experience with ITSM or ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
• Excellent communication, organization and time management, able to work independently
• Willingness to travel up to 80–85% and pass background checks
• Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 70 lbs during installations

Responsibilities

• Install and configure WSI systems on-site, including servers and recording infrastructure
• Rack, cable, configure, and test hardware in data centers and telecom environments
• Test installations and ensure customer requirements are met before sign-off
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues
• Document installations, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system
• Act as primary technical contact during on-site customer visits
