Job summary

First Student is seeking a Training Designer to design, develop and deploy technical training across classroom, e-learning and blended formats. The role includes both in person and remote delivery, collaborating with leadership and SMEs to produce effective training materials that improve on-the-job performance.

Responsibilities include leading driver training, supporting drivers and staff with new technology, and coordinating logistics.

Qualifications

• Logistics and operations background with 2+ years preferred.
• Strong analytic and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Displays leadership and ability to work in a team environment.
• Adapt to changing technologies and environments; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement engaging training programs (classroom, e-learning, blended).
• Provide in person and remote delivery of learning content and SME support.
• Collaborate with leadership and SMEs on training materials and content.
• Lead driver training sessions and support drivers and staff with new tech.
• Schedule, organize and manage logistics of training sessions; manage time and resources.
