Group 1 Automotive, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Training Designer to design, develop, and deliver engaging programs that elevate employee skills and performance.

The Trainer will foster a culture of continuous learning, applying adult learning principles and measuring impact across the organization. You will facilitate sessions, update materials, assess needs, adapt to learning styles, and coordinate logistics for in-person and virtual training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in training, facilitation, or instructional design.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with training technologies, such as LMS and virtual tools (Zoom/Teams).
• Ability to assess training effectiveness and adjust programs accordingly.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, in-person and virtual, to support employee development.
• Develop and update training materials, including presentations, guides, e-learning modules, and job aids.
• Assess training needs through collaboration with leadership, employee feedback, and performance evaluations.
• Adapt training methods to different learning styles, ensuring engagement and retention.
• Monitor and measure effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and metrics.
• Provide coaching and support to employees, ensuring application of learned skills.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to improve programs.
• Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, spaces, and materials.
