bioMerieux is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to service customers across the assigned territory and nationally as needed. The role requires installation, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs of complex systems, with overnight travel and on-call duties.

The FSE will promote service agreements and identify cross-functional sales opportunities while delivering best-in-class customer experience. This position demands strong technical proficiency, self-motivation, and the ability to work with minimal

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field; or 6+ years relevant experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting/repair of electro-mechanical, electronic, computer, electrical systems.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
• Promote service agreements and identify sales opportunities.
• Drive field service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
• Attend product training at Durham, NC or St. Louis, MO offices within the first year.
• Travel for customer visits; on-call rotation; national travel as needed.
• Complete service work orders and QA checklists; maintain calendar and submit expense reports.
