bioMérieux is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to service customers in Florida with national coverage as needed. You will install, maintain, upgrade, and repair complex electro-mechanical and electronic systems, traveling up to 90% domestically and performing on-call rotations.

In this role, you'll build relationships, promote service agreements, and drive field service revenue while maintaining high technical and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of professional experience in troubleshooting and/or repair of complex electro-mechanical, electronic, computer, electrical systems.
• Education substitution: 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
• Promote service agreements and identify sales opportunities.
• Drive field service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
• Attend 6–9 weeks of product training in Durham, NC or St. Louis, MO.
• Travel for customer visits; overnight travel as needed.
• Participate in weekend/holiday on-call rotation.
• Complete work orders and QA checklists accurately.
• Submit travel expense reports regularly.
• Maintain fleet vehicle and inventory.
• Collaborate with sales and applications teams to improve customer experience.
• Represent bioMérieux professionally; support trade shows.
• Comply with quality procedures and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
