Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Field Systems Engineer in Florida to service customers across the region and nationally as needed. You will install, maintain, and repair instruments, while delivering a best-in-class customer experience with remote work flexibility and overnight travel when required.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or 6+ years of relevant experience) and a valid driver’s license. Expect 6–9 weeks of training in the first year and active involvement in service revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for technical field work.
• 6+ years in troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems if no degree.
• Valid driver’s license required in residence state.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, upgrade and repair instruments per specifications.
• Build trust with customers and promote service agreements.
• Drive field service revenue via preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
• Attend 6–9 weeks of product training in Durham, NC or St. Louis, MO in first year.
• Travel for visits, including overnight stays and potential national travel.
• Participate in on-call rotation and document work orders accurately.
