bioMerieux is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to service instruments across Florida and nationally when needed. You will install, maintain, upgrade, and repair complex systems, traveling overnight as required and supporting cross-functional teams to drive service revenue.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or 6+ years of relevant experience), strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
• Build trust with customers and promote service agreements.
• Foster teamwork across service and support teams while driving field service revenue.
• Attend product training at Durham, NC or St. Louis, MO offices within the first year; future trainings as needed.
• Travel includes scheduled and unscheduled visits with overnight stays.
• Participate in weekend/holiday on-call rotation (~every 5 weeks).
• Complete service work orders, QA checklists, and training requirements on time.
• Submit travel expense reports regularly to avoid penalties.
• Follow company fleet policies and manage equipment.
• Pursue professional development and collaborate with sales and applications teams.
• Represent bioMerieux professionally and support trade shows as needed.
• Comply with quality procedures and standards.
