Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to service customers across Florida and nationally, performing installations, maintenance and repairs with remote work capability and occasional overnight travel. You will promote service agreements and contribute to field service revenue while ensuring high-quality customer experiences.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of electro-mechanical/system troubleshooting, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of professional experience in troubleshooting and/or repair of complex electro-mechanical, electronic, computer, electrical systems.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
• Promote service agreements and identify sales opportunities.
• Drive field service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
• Attend 6-9 weeks of product training at Durham, NC or St. Louis, MO within the first year.
• Travel for customer visits with overnight stays; participate in on-call rotation.
• Complete service work orders, QA checklists, and internal training requirements.
