Job summary

bioMérieux seeks a Field Systems Engineer to support customers across a broad territory in the United States, with national travel as needed. The role is remote-enabled with overnight travel and requires a self-starter approach and strong technical skills.

You will install, maintain and repair sophisticated instruments, promote service agreements, and collaborate with sales and applications teams to enhance customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 6+ years related experience required.
• Experience troubleshooting and repair of electro-mechanical/electronic systems.
• Valid driver's license in current state.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades and repairs to ensure instruments meet specs.
• Build trust with customers, promote service agreements, and identify sales opportunities.
• Drive field service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
• Attend product training at Durham, NC or St. Louis, MO within the first year.
• Travel includes daily visits with overnight stays as territory requires; participate in on-call rotation.
• Complete service work orders, QA checklists and internal training on time.
• Maintain calendar, submit travel expenses promptly to avoid penalties.
