bioMerieux is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to service customer instruments across Florida. You will install, maintain, upgrade, and repair devices while working remotely and traveling as needed.

Expect on-call rotations and collaboration with sales, applications, and service teams to enhance the customer experience. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree, 2+ years in related tech fields, and valid driver’s license, with substitution options for extensive experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of professional related experience in troubleshooting and/or repair of complex electro-mechanical, electronic, computer, electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs to ensure instruments meet specifications.
• Build trust with customers, promote service agreements, and identify sales opportunities for cross-functional teams.
• Drive field service revenue through billable offerings like preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
• Attend product training within the first year and as needed.
• Travel includes daily customer visits and overnight stays as required; participate in on-call rotation.
