bioMerieux is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to service customers across a geographic territory and nationally as needed. The role requires hands-on installations, maintenance, and repairs with strong customer focus.

You will travel regularly, including overnight stays, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure instrument performance. The position emphasizes collaboration with sales and applications teams to promote service offerings, manage the service fleet, and maintain documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 6+ years related field experience.
• 2+ years troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical, electronic, computer, electrical systems.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
• Promote service agreements and identify sales opportunities.
• Drive field service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
• Attend 6-9 weeks of product training within the first year; future trainings.
• Travel includes both scheduled and unscheduled visits, with overnight stays for wide territories.
• Participate in weekend/holiday on-call rotation (~every 5 weeks).
• Complete service work orders and QA checklists.
• Maintain fleet vehicle and inventory per policy.
• Collaborate with sales and applications teams to enhance customer experience.
• Represent bioMerieux professionally and support trade shows.
