Job summary

bioMerieux is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to service customers across the territory and nationally. The role requires remote work with extensive travel, installations, maintenance, and repair of complex systems, and collaboration with sales and applications teams to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronic Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical or related discipline.
• 2+ years of professional experience troubleshooting/repair of electro-mechanical/electronic systems.
• Education substitution: 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs using electronics and computer skills.
• Build trust with customers, promote service agreements, and identify cross-functional sales opportunities.
• Drive field service revenue through billable offerings like preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
• Attend product training sessions within the first year; travel as needed for trainings.
