Job summary

BioMe9rieux seeks a Field Systems Engineer in the United States to support service needs across a broad geographic area, including national travel. The role requires remote work capability, strong technical skills, and a proactive, customer-focused approach.

Expect regular installations, maintenance, and repairs, with opportunities to upsell service agreements and optimize field service revenue. Overnight travel may be required as needs arise.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering, electronics, CS, biomedical or related discipline.
• 2+ years of professional experience troubleshooting and/or repair of electro-mechanical, electronic, computer, electrical systems.
• Alternative: 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs; perform installations, maintenance, upgrades and repairs.
• Build trust with customers; promote service agreements; identify sales opportunities.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
