Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Field Support Technician to provide remote and on-site IT support for ANG modernization across CONUS. The role involves hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity and DoW compliance.

The position requires 50%+ travel and a Secret clearance, with opportunities to work remotely and visit multiple ANG installations. Expect collaboration with engineers, logisticians, and program managers to ensure seamless

Qualifications

• DoD 8140 Level II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND).
• Working knowledge of enterprise hardware platforms and networking technologies.
• Ability to interpret engineering documentation, drawings, and installation procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service with non-technical users.
• Ability to travel more than 50% for nationwide deployments.

Responsibilities

• Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment at various sites.
• Performs maintenance and technical support on products and software.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions to minimize downtime and ensures proper integration.
• Mentors on-site staff and provides end-user training as needed.
• Travels to customer sites and delivers field technician services.
• Reviews configurations to ensure proper production deployment.
