GovCIO is hiring a Field Support Technician to provide remote and on‑site IT support for ANG modernization across CONUS. This remote‑heavy role requires more than 50% travel and a Secret clearance.

You will deploy, configure, test, and sustain IT infrastructure, collaborating with engineers and logistics teams to ensure cybersecurity, reliability and mission readiness across installations.

Qualificações

• DoD 8140 Level II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND).
• Working knowledge of enterprise hardware platforms and common networking technologies.
• Ability to interpret engineering documentation, technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to support technical and non‑technical users.
• Ability to travel more than 50% in support of nationwide deployment activities.

Responsabilidades

• Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment at customer or field locations.
• Performs maintenance and technical support on hardware, systems and software.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Completes programming and optimization as part of installation.
• Provides on‑site end‑user training and travels to customer sites.
• Tests and trains customers on technical aspects of systems and services.
• Collaborates with developers and engineers to reduce recurring incidents.
• Reviews configurations to ensure production readiness.
