Job summary

GovCIO seeks a Field Support Technician to provide remote and on-site IT support for ANG modernization across CONUS installations. The role entails hands-on installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and field deployment activities with significant travel and compliance with DoW requirements.

The position supports standardized hardware, software, and network solutions to improve cybersecurity, reliability, and mission readiness while coordinating with systems engineers and program management.

Qualifications

• DoD 8140 Level II certification required
• Travel >50% for nationwide deployment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical install activities
• Secret clearance
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Installs, operates, maintains, and repairs equipment at customer sites.
• Performs routine maintenance and analyzes system configurations.
• Travels to customer sites and provides field technician services.
• Coordinates with engineers to implement services into production.
• Provides on-site end-user training and support.
