Job summary

Roche seeks a Field Solutions Specialist to support regional automation solutions across the Southwest region. You will act as the primary automation expert, advising laboratory leadership on workflow, middleware integration, and optimization post-implementation.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in a related field and at least 3 years’ experience with laboratory IT products or Roche automation, with strong communication skills and a focus on customer success. A company car is provided.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience implementing and evaluating lab IT products.
Experience with Roche automation solutions or similar platforms is preferred.
Strong understanding of laboratory workflow and customer consultation.

Responsibilities

Serve as regional workflow, application, and automation expert for Roche systems.
Provide guidance on workflow, specimen flow, and operational efficiency to maximize automation investments.
Lead workflow assessments and optimization activities post-implementation.
Support standardization of workflow best practices across accounts.
Own post-go-live workflow ownership and provide ongoing support for cobas 8100 and RDA systems.
Coordinate follow-up visits, reviews, and health assessments.
Collaborate with ISAs, FAS, FES, and other teams to coordinate support.
Maintain knowledge of automation software and distinguish issues for routing.
Coach personnel and contribute to regional automation competency.
