Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Field Sales Consultant in California to self-generate leads and present in-home solar products and services. You will build genuine customer connections to qualify solar as a viable home energy solution and drive appointments in the local market.

The role involves in-home presentations, relationship-building, and managing the sales pipeline through installation and activation, with competitive commissions and incentives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, in-home sales preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments.
• Provide an industry-leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after activation.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations and assess knowledge and needs to build long-lasting relationships.
• Handle pipeline from prospect to install and follow up on leads and consultations.
• Accurately disposition and report outcomes via CRM tool.
• Meet minimum sales targets set by leadership.
