Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Field Sales Consultant in California to self-generate leads and deliver in-home solar product presentations. You will build genuine connections with homeowners, qualify opportunities, and drive the entire sales cycle from initial contact to installation.

You will travel within the local market, work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and use an iPad/CRM to manage your pipeline. Compensation includes base pay with strong commissions and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, with in-home sales experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, and pass a driving background check.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner cross-functionally when addressing customer needs.
• Willingness to travel within local market depending on business needs and sales model.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Intermediate comfort with technology, using an IPAD/computer and multiple software applications (CRM is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Develop self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers.
• Provide an industry-leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after activation.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations and assess customer needs to build relationships.
• Manage the pipeline from prospect to install and follow up on all leads and consultations.
• Accurately document outcomes in the CRM.
• Meet minimum sales targets set by leadership.
