Job summary

Socket Telecom LLC is seeking a skilled Field Services Technician- Tier II to deliver expert onsite installation services for residential customers. You will play a key role ensuring a seamless experience as customers connect to Socket's fiber network.

This role requires travel to service areas, working in most conditions, and the ability to install and test equipment, diagnose issues, and complete thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent installations and repairs for residential customers.
• Install and configure customer equipment, including routers, modems, and Wi-Fi gateways.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by being professional, friendly, and knowledgeable during all service visits.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity and service issues with accuracy and efficiency.
• Install, terminate, and test network cabling, adhering to all relevant codes and standards.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of service activities.
• Safely operate company vehicles and equipment, including ladders and bucket trucks, in accordance with all safety protocols and DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Maintain a clean driving record and represent Socket with professionalism in the field.
