Job summary

Socket Telecom LLC is seeking a Field Services Technician- Tier II to perform expert onsite installation and repair for residential customers across Sullivan and surrounding areas. The role requires travel, professional interaction with customers, and safe operation of field equipment including bucket trucks.

You will install and configure customer equipment, diagnose connectivity issues, document service activities, and uphold Socket's standards in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent installations and repairs for residential customers.
• Install and configure customer equipment, including routers, modems, and Wi-Fi gateways.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by being professional, friendly, and knowledgeable during all service visits.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity and service issues with accuracy and efficiency.
• Install, terminate, and test network cabling, adhering to all relevant codes and standards.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of service activities.
• Safely operate company vehicles and equipment, including ladders and bucket trucks, in accordance with all safety protocols and DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Maintain a clean driving record and represent Socket with professionalism in the field.
