Job summary

Pronto AI is seeking a Field Engineer to install, maintain, and repair autonomous technology across mining and construction sites. You will deploy hardware and software, calibrate systems, and coordinate with engineering and customer teams to ensure field success.

The role requires 5+ years in field service or automotive electronics, strong diagnostic and wiring diagram skills, and up to 75% travel. Based in the US (Arizona/Florida/Texas/Wyoming), you will work on production deployments

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of field service or similar technical role.
• Proficient with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and electrical testing tools.
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems (power, CAN bus, sensors, ECUs).
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy Pronto hardware and software at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability.
• Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and connectivity issues in the field.
• Provide on-site customer training and support; document activities.
