Job summary

Pronto is seeking a Field Engineer to install, maintain, and repair autonomous vehicle solutions at customer locations across the US. This hands-on role requires coordinating with engineering and customer teams, performing calibrations, and ensuring deployments meet specs and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in field service or automotive electronics, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to travel up to 75%. Remote work is supported with frequent field site visits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in field service or technical support in automotive/equipment environments.
• Advanced degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering or related field is required.
• Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Solid understanding of vehicle systems (power, CAN bus, sensors, ECUs).
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy Pronto hardware and software at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations to ensure system health.
• Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and connectivity issues in the field.
• Provide on-site customer support and basic training when needed.
• Document service activities using company ticketing and CRM tools.
