Job summary

Pronto AI is seeking a Field Engineer to install, maintain, and repair advanced autonomous systems at customer sites in the U.S. This hands-on role requires installing hardware/software, calibrating systems, and coordinating with customers to ensure successful deployments.

You will troubleshoot field issues, provide basic training, and document activities in our CRM. Willingness to travel up to 75% and work outdoors is required.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering or related.
• Approximately 5+ years in field service or similar technical support.
• Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems and ECUs.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Experience with autonomous vehicle systems or robotics is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in field environments.
• Familiarity with Linux-based systems and remote diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure Pronto hardware and software at customer sites.
• Calibrate and validate systems to meet specs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose field issues.
• Provide on-site customer training and support.
• Document service activities in CRM/ticketing.
• Coordinate with engineering and customer teams on deployments.
