Job summary

Matrix Packaging Machinery is seeking a Field Service Technician to support installation, maintenance, and repair of automated packaging equipment. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, train customer personnel, and travel across the US and internationally to meet client needs.

The role requires knowledge of mechanical/electrical principles, PLC familiarity, and strong customer service skills. Expect extensive field travel and hands-on problem solving daily.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Willingness to travel extensively (75%+) within the US and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Install, integrate, repair and troubleshoot complex machinery.
• Provide on-site installation and customer training.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical issues and ensure specs are met.
• Travel 75% of the time to customer sites across the US and abroad.
• Support customers with parts needs and technical telephone assistance.
