Job summary

Matrix Packaging Machinery, part of ProMach, seeks a Field Service Technician to install, maintain and repair automated packaging equipment across the U.S. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems and deliver strong customer service to clients.

You will travel frequently, provide on-site training, and support customers with aftermarket parts and service. PLC/PC systems and Windows/MS Office experience are helpful, with a preference for experience in flexible packaging machinery.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles a must.
• Willingness to travel extensively (75%).
• Familiarity with PLC/PC systems is helpful.
• Proficiency in Windows & MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with flexible packaging machinery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair automated packaging equipment.
• Installations and integrations, or servicing and troubleshooting as needed.
• On-site customization of machine programs.
• Provide 24-hour on-call support and customer training.
• Travel to customer sites; provide factory floor support.
