Job summary

Matrix Packaging Machinery is seeking a Field Service Technician to support installation, maintenance, and repair of automated packaging equipment across the United States. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical challenges and deliver exceptional customer service.

The role requires strong mechanical knowledge, PLC/PC systems familiarity, and a willingness to travel up to 75% (and occasionally internationally).

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical principles and independent problem-solving.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel extensively within the US and internationally.
• Experience in machinery repair is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, repair, and troubleshoot automated packaging equipment.
• Direct customer personnel during installations and servicing.
• Provide on-site programming adjustments to meet client needs.
• Train customer personnel on equipment operation and service.
