Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Service Specialist to service existing customers in Ohio, responding to service calls, performing preventive maintenance, and handling small projects. You’ll collaborate with teammates to ensure high-quality support and customer satisfaction across our security and access-control solutions.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of field service experience, solid troubleshooting skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
• Knowledge of fire alarm or electronic security systems preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and after-hours service calls in a timely manner.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts and debug systems.
• Install projects and provide maintenance for installed Security systems.
• Prepare detailed service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Collaborate with team members to support customer needs and cross-training.
