Convergint is seeking a Security Service Technician to join a dynamic team. You will service and support existing customers by responding to service calls, carrying out Customer Support Programs and small projects, and helping grow the business.

The role emphasizes integrity, accountability, and delivering results within Convergint's people-first culture. The position requires 3-5 years in servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems, with travel to local sites and a valid

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience
• Minimum Experience: 3-5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems
• Relevant field service and CCTV/Intrusion experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and some non-routine service calls, scheduled maintenance, and after-hours calls; diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, replace defective parts and debug systems.
• Install projects as necessary and perform system upgrades
• Complete accurate and detailed service reports for invoicing and cost tracking
• Provide custom system integrations and consultations as needed; support network systems for assigned projects
• Adhere to safety policies and regulations; collaborate with team to improve operations
