Job summary
Vanguard Durst Digital Printing Systems is the leading manufacturer of UV Flatbed, Hybrid and Roll to Roll printers, serving signage, decor, corporate and packaging sectors. This role involves installing and servicing printers, training customers, diagnosing issues, and supporting sales with technical insight.
The Service Technician will travel up to 75% across the USA/Canada, provide remote support, and document all activities.
Qualifications
- Heavy, industrial equipment maintenance knowledge/experience.
- Installation/support experience onsite as field tech/engineer.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% in USA and Canada.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficient computer skills and basic software knowledge.
- English proficiency and valid driver license.
Responsibilities
- Install and service all printers to the delight of customers.
- Train customers on operation of printers.
- Diagnose and repair issues via remote support or onsite service.
- Support sales by passing information/opportunities to Sales.
- Provide remote support for customer service line.
- Communicate with stakeholders to deliver commitments.
- Document service calls and resolutions in Salesforce.
