Job summary

Vanguard Durst Digital Printing Systems is seeking a Service Technician to install and service our UV flatbed, hybrid and roll-to-roll printers. You will train customers, diagnose and repair issues, and provide remote support to ensure high satisfaction.

The role requires heavy mechanical/electrical aptitude, strong communication, and willingness to travel across the USA and Canada. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with proactive problem solving and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Heavy, industrial equipment maintenance knowledge/experience.
• Installation/support experience onsite as field tech/engineer.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time across USA/Canada, occasional weekend work.
• Great attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• English proficiency.
• Experience or training in some mechanical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Install and service printers to ensure customer delight.
• Train customers on printer operation.
• Diagnose, repair and resolve printer issues via remote or onsite service.
• Support sales by sharing information/opportunities.
• Provide remote support for the customer service line.
• Document service calls and resolutions in Salesforce.
