Job summary

Vanguard Durst Digital Printing Systems is seeking a Service Technician to install and service printers, train customers, and diagnose issues. The role involves remote and onsite support, with frequent travel to customers across the USA and Canada.

You will document resolutions in our system and collaborate with Sales to pass along opportunities. Ideal candidates bring heavy equipment maintenance experience, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Heavy, industrial equipment maintenance knowledge/experience.
• Installation/support experience onsite as field tech/engineer.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time USA/Canada.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Proficient computer skills and forklift/hand tools competency.

Responsibilities

• Install and service all printers to customer delight.
• Train customers on operation of printers.
• Diagnose and repair issues via remote support or onsite service.
• Support sales by passing information/opportunities to Sales.
• Provide remote support for customer service line.
• Document service calls in Salesforce with materials and resolutions.
