Job summary

Vanguard Durst Digital Printing Systems in the US is seeking a Service Technician to install and service our UV flatbed, hybrid and roll-to-roll printers, ensuring customer satisfaction. You will train customers, diagnose and repair issues via remote support or onsite, and document resolutions in Salesforce, while collaborating with Sales and providing remote support through our 1-800 line.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in heavy, industrial equipment maintenance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% nationwide and to Canada.
• Proficient with computers and field service documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install and service all printers to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Train customers on how to operate Vanguard printers.
• Diagnose, repair and solve issues via remote support or onsite service.
• Support sales by passing information/opportunities to Sales.
• Provide remote support for the customer service line.
• Document service calls including materials and resolutions in Salesforce.
• Communicate with stakeholders to coordinate field activities.
• Travel up to 75% across the USA and Canada; some weekend work may be required.
