Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring a Field Service Technician for the Phoenix, AZ area. You will install and configure software and hardware at customer sites, train end users, and help grow revenue through value-added services.

The role requires independent work, travel within the local region, and a commitment to staying current with product knowledge. You will be resolving hardware and software issues, collaborating with clients, and supporting deployments both onsite and remotely.

Qualifications

• Ability to install and configure software and hardware at customer sites.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Understanding of DB connectivity and record set manipulation.
• Knowledge of network configuration, operating systems, software, and hardware.
• Ability to analyze hardware and software problems.
• Willingness to submit to pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must be able to lift/move items up to 55 lbs.
• COVID-19 vaccination required or approved accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure software applications and hardware peripherals at customer sites.
• Provide end-user training and create job aides for client administrators/operators.
• Contribute to revenue growth through sales leads and billable professional services; earn commissions on supplies and/or services you sell.
• Deliver solutions remotely and onsite.
• Work independently and make decisions free from immediate direction of management.
• Stay up to date on Pitney Bowes industry knowledge.
