Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring a Field Service Technician for Jackson, MS. You will install and configure software and hardware at customer sites, train end users, and drive revenue growth through service leads.

Travel to multiple customer locations is required, with a company car provided within the first year. The role demands independent work, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to stay up-to-date with evolving technology and mailing equipment.

Qualifications

• AA degree in Electronics, Mechanics, Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Strong communication skills both oral and written.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments, products and technology.
• Ability to analyze hardware and software problems.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; daily travel to multiple locations; company car provided within first year.
• Ability to lift/move up to 55 lbs.
• Proficiency with Windows environments and PC interaction with automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure software applications and hardware peripherals at customer sites.
• Provide end-user training and create job aids for client administrators/operators.
• Contribute to revenue growth through sales leads and billable services; earn commissions on supplies/services sold.
• Deliver solutions remotely and onsite.
• Work independently with minimal direction and stay current with industry knowledge.
