IPG is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of IPG/Better Packages equipment at customer locations. You will ensure equipment uptime and support production needs with hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude.

The role requires independent work, strong customer communication, and the ability to travel up to 30% of the work week, including potential overnight travel.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent required; technical field preferred.
• Experience with electrical and electromechanical systems at customer sites.
• Willing to travel up to 30% and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Experience in packaging automation is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of IPG/Better Packages products and services.
• Perform on-site installation, repair, and preventive maintenance at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and minor automation issues with testing tools.
• Establish and execute PM programs for end-user accounts to minimize downtime.
• Document service actions, complete work orders, and maintain service records.
• Perform software upgrades on IPG equipment as required.
• Support Senior Technicians on complex field jobs and escalations.
• Assist with emergency repairs, customer training, and audits.
