Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver excellent service and elevate efficiency in routine maintenance of Canon-supported products at customer sites.

This customer-facing role requires travel, a valid driver’s license, and compliance with customer policies (including COVID-19 vaccination where applicable). The successful candidate will train through a 120-day PDIF program and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must understand basic internet environments and complete the 120-day intro and the PDIF new-hire class.
• Ability to travel with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Must take steps to obtain security/clearances required by customers to enter premises.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with documentation.
• Meet customer demands with efficient, responsive maintenance (Field/Shop/on-site).
• Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Maintain the performance of assigned machines.
• Contribute to branch/district metric targets.
