Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. in the United States is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver high-level service and efficient maintenance for Canon-supported products.

You will travel to customer sites, perform on-site and shop maintenance, and document service activities with accuracy. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, can travel with a valid license, and are prepared for a 120-day introductory period and PDIF training.

Qualifications

• Hold a High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Possess a basic understanding of internet environments and the ability to complete the 120‑day introductory period and the PDIF new-hire class.
• Ability to travel (valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record).
• Obtain security/clearances required by customers to enter premises.
• Lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).

Responsibilities

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with required documentation.
• Provide efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on-site maintenance to meet customer demands.
• Maintain all Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
• Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Maintain the performance of assigned machines and help achieve branch/district targets.
