Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is hiring a Field Service Technician I to perform on-site maintenance and service for Canon products.

This role requires customer-facing interaction, adherence to safety protocols, and lifting up to 50 pounds while moving across facilities and customer sites. You will travel to customer locations, document service activities, and support branch targets while maintaining equipment and reporting issues to management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and completion of the PDIF new-hire class.
• Ability to travel with valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Must obtain security/clearances required by customers to enter premises.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and be active over 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with documentation.
• Provide efficient, responsive field/shop/on-site maintenance to meet customer demands.
• Maintain Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Maintain performance of assigned machines.
• Support branch/district targets through performance improvements.
