Job summary

IPG is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site maintenance and repair of IPG/Better Packages equipment at customer locations. You will ensure uptime, support production needs, and communicate technical information to customers in the field.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude, strong customer communication, and the ability to work independently while representing IPG at customer sites. Travel ~30% is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Experience diagnosing faults at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, repair, and preventive maintenance on IPG/Better Packages equipment.
• Diagnose issues using testing tools and documentation; provide on-the-job training as needed.
• Establish and execute PM programs to ensure equipment reliability.
• Assist with field testing and feedback for product improvement.
• Document service actions and maintain accurate service records.
