Job summary

Acuative is seeking a dependable Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support network and technology infrastructure at customer sites across the market area. You will work with routers, switches, wireless access points, firewalls, and related hardware, often coordinating with remote NOC engineers and project teams.

The role requires hands-on hardware installation, cabling, testing, and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Experience with routers, switches, WAPs, firewalls, and related hardware.
• Strong knowledge of telecom circuits and demarcation points.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work from ladders.
• Willingness to travel to meet SLAs.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Covid-19 vaccination required.
• On-call, after hours, and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test network hardware at customer sites.
• Perform site surveys, cabling, and equipment cutovers.
• Maintain company vehicle and inventory.
• Provide Smart Hands support and coordinate with remote teams.
• Document tickets, serial numbers, and survey data.
• Troubleshoot copper cabling and connectivity.
