Job summary

Acuative is seeking a dependable Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and provide Smart Hands support for network infrastructure at customer sites. Role covers voice/data networks, servers, and retail tech with remote coordination from NOCs and engineers.

Training and a company vehicle are provided; travel and lifting are required. The ideal candidate has strong technical background, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently across varied locations.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
CompTIA networking, Cisco, Cabling, BICSII, Satellite, PBX or VoIP certifications a plus.
Selected candidates will attend hardware and cabling training at our Global Technology Center.

Responsibilities

Install/replace/rack/mount network hardware and provide Smart Hands support.
Perform cabling and installation across multiple platforms including fixed wireless and LEO satellite.
Coordinate with remote engineers/NOCs for configurations and troubleshooting.
Document circuits, IDs, demarcation points, and hardware inventories.
Maintain tools, safety equipment, and company vehicle; work at heights as needed.
